Legacy Remodeling Named Top Remodeler in Western Pennsylvania
Two National Magazines Honor Pittsburgh Business’ Resiliency during Recession
PITTSBURGH, PA- September 9, 2009 – Legacy Remodeling is proving yet again that Pittsburgh businesses are resilient, no matter what the economic climate. The Dormont-based remodeler has been honored by two national magazines in the past month for its success despite the downturn.
In the latest issue of Remodeling Magazine, Legacy Remodeling was listed number 77 on the list of replacement contractors, the highest of any Pittsburgh-based company. The list is part of the magazine’s first annual “Remodeling 550,” the list of the largest companies by revenue in the home improvement industry.
Legacy was also recognized in the September issue of Qualified Remodeler magazine in its annual “Top 500” list. Legacy was ranked number 126 on the list, marking the 14th consecutive year that Legacy has been honored.
“In a year such as this, where we’ve witnessed a number of competitors fold due to the economic pressure, we’re proud that we’ve been able to maintain our stance as the largest specialty remodeler in Western Pennsylvania,” said Legacy founder and CEO Ken Moeslein. “By keeping the customer as our number one priority, we plan to maintain this position for years to come.”
