Legacy Remodeling Awarded Prestigious Torch Award

Better Business Bureau Honors Legacy’s Commitment to Ethics

PITTSBURGH, PA- November 16, 2009 – Legacy Remodeling, Western Pennsylvania’s largest specialty home remodeler, has been honored by the Better Business Bureau for its outstanding commitment to ethics in the marketplace. The company was just named the 2009 winner of the Better Business Bureau’s prestigious Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.

Legacy Remodeling is one of only two companies in Western Pennsylvania that was chosen for the 2009 Torch Award. The award was established by the Better Business Bureau to gain public recognition for businesses that maintain a solid commitment to conducting their business practices in an ethical fashion. The winners were selected by an independent panel of academic professionals chosen by the Better Business Bureau.

Founded by Ken and Linda Moeslein in 1987 as Swing Line Windows, Legacy Remodeling has maintained a high standard of ethics for more than 23 years by adhering to its internal code of conduct – “do the right thing.” The company was the first in the area to offer a “no-service charge warranty for as long as you own your home,” and founder Ken Moeslein has served on the Better Business Bureau Board of Directors for several years.
